There really ought to be a society for the prevention of cruelty to hearing aids. Just think about what happens to them.
They get battered more than babies, they get neglected more than pets. Attempts are made to drown them and they become choked with food on occasion. They get scraped along the ground and their wires pulled out. Sometimes their vital parts are lost as they used on the beach making sand castles. They suffer severely when little children are sick and neglected batteries leak.
One pair was dropped from the top of the fire escape and suffered an early death, while another poor little post aural was savaged by a dog – unmentionable things happen in the toilets!
Please join this new society – membership is free!
